PVMA+Animal Care PA's Young Leadership Scholarship Recipient

I am honored to be awarded a Young Leadership Scholarship! This scholarship will allow me to receive advanced training in dairy production medicine during my 4th year of veterinary school. Throughout my education, veterinarians from Pennsylvania have supported my goal to become a veterinarian through externships, mentorship, and scholarship funds. After I graduate, I hope to give back to my community by serving dairy farmers that are working hard to keep the milk supply safe and nutritious. Thank you PVMA and Animal Care PA for supporting my education!

Animal Care PA Veterinary Student Scholarship

I am so thankful to have been chosen as a recipient of the Animal Care PA Veterinary Student Scholarship! My first experiences in veterinary medicine were at the Western PA Humane Society and I still have a strong connection to the Pennsylvania Veterinary community even as I attend veterinary school at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in North Grafton, MA. This scholarship will not only lighten the financial burden of veterinary school but will also allow me to return to Pennsylvania for externships during my 4th year. I am so grateful to the PVMA and Animal Care PA and hope to become involved with the PVMA in the future and help the future generations of veterinary students achieve their goals.

Animal Care PA Veterinary Student Scholarship

I have lived in Pennsylvania for my entire life, and I am truly honored to receive this scholarship from Animal Care PA. I appreciate this scholarship because it will significantly help decrease my student loan debt after graduation. Animal rescue has been a constant presence in my life, which I why I chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Ultimately, I would one day like to provide low-cost veterinary care to underprivileged areas, but the cost of a veterinary education makes this goal challenging. I am grateful that this scholarship will help me achieve this goal sooner.
